Architecture merges with Science and Technology to create a holistic energetic curriculum ‘Naduhl’
On 7th July 12 noon Pune witnessed an historic event, the merger of science & architecture,
This fusion of Architecture , Science and Technology was blessed and witnessed by Pritzker awarded Ar. B.V. Doshi and Padambhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar at Hyatt , Pune along withNachiketa, Mayank Barjatya, Priti Bhandari, Girish Doshi , Amol Purandare & Sunetra.
This merger happened between India International Multiversity & Indi Green Trust signed by Nachiketa Bhatkar, CEO IIMv & Mayank Barjatya, Chairman IGT
Indi green Trust is an educational and research non profit organisation working since 5 years in the field of traditional indian architecture. IG trust has been working with ‘Prithwe’ and ‘Hands full of Earth’ brand name conducting workshops and training at across section in the society including children and architects on the lost science of Indian traditional Architecture mainly in the subjects dealing in Sustainability under the leadership of Ar. Mayank Barjatya and Priti Bhandari.
this small event was extension of the new energetic & humaizsed architecture curiculam called “ NADUHL” attended by architects and friends. During the talk, Architect B V Doshi said that this merger would be an pioneering thing in the field of Architecture & he said small conclave of students should be evolved in learning from past experiances and projects by eminent architects who has intutive design capability, He insisted that this merger should involve professional architects & ask them to use in their project, he said one is client need & other is environmental, cultural & social
Doshi compared Vastu Shilpa Shastra with deep sustainibilty & ecosystem as in bio-diverse forest, all sustain together.
Doshi said this merger is very challenging & very important & he is happy that his Pune studetns & Dr. Bhatkar team has made efforts to do this.
Bhatkar said they would like to make an techincal lerning module with Prithwe & Mayank’s past research using current technology both online & at physical campus , Naduhl is the name given to the energetic curiculm, he said he would like to bring in the masters & learn from them. he said that he aspires to create a scientific aspects of Gurkul learning in today’s context. he said this merger would bring in research & education on ancient sciences, field of consiousness. he said this merger will create a paradigm shift where spaces and Architecture is concerned based on quantum physics along with human energy .
Priti said, that the architecture is becoming very complex & we need simplicity in space design which can unclutter the mind.
Mayank’s approach has been in scientific building biology & he talked on how the physical comfortable spaces are always in the design criteria of architects but never architects indulge into prana & inner comfort of his clients, he said we need to design spaces which can make an individual’s inner core happy. He also emphasised
that we as architects should avoid unhealthy building material & respect mother earth.
